The Chronic Syndrome Support Association, Inc.
Thank you so much for sending me your informative yellow folder which included information about your organization. Let me say first that I like the name of your organization because it is an umbrella term.
To support your organization and the work youíre doing youíll receive a $100 donation from me by way of the Memphis Community Foundation.
A word about where Iím coming from. Iím an 83-year old pediatrician and medical writer with a crusading interest in helping people with chronic symptoms which are often ignored by their physicians or blamed on psychological causes.
Over 40 years ago a mother convinced me, against my will that her 12-year old sonís fatigue, headache and muscle aches vanished when he stopped drinking milk. About the same time I met the late Theron Randolph, the brilliant pioneer who taught me that environmental chemicals played an important part in making many people sick.
Then, in 1979, another patient gave me an article published in an obscure Canadian medical journal describing the relationship of repeated antibiotics, steroids and high sugar diets to many chronic health problems.
In 1983, as you probably know, I wrote a book entitled, The Yeast Connection, which has sold over 1.1 million copies, although the yeast hypothesis is still considered ďspeculative and unproven.Ē Since that time Iíve written other books, including The Yeast Connection Handbook (1997/2000). My next book, which will be coming from the printer in mid-December is entitled, Tired - So Tired! and the ďyeast connection.Ē
Congratulations on the work youíre doing. Iíd love to hear from you and send you copies of my books or any other information. Iíll visit your website, www.cssa-inc.org. I hope youíll visit mine, www.candida-yeast.com. Look especially at the IHF link.
