The Chronic Syndrome Support Assn., Inc. (CSSA) is saddened by the passing of Dr. William G. Crook on Sunday, October 20, from a brain hemorrhage. "Billy" was a member of CSSA's Advisory Board.
Billy was inquisitive, open-minded, and reached out to all. He worked for many years on behalf of those who suffer from autism, ADHD, chronic fatigue and other "invisible" illnesses. He stuck his neck out to try to help patients and got a lot of grief from "the establishment" for his efforts. He also helped a lot of people.
Billy established the International Health Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization, in 1986 with a focus on food allergies, chemical sensitivities, and most notably Candida albicans. He authored many books, including "The Yeast Connection", "The Yeast Connection Cookbook", "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and the Yeast Connection", "The Yeast Connection and the Woman", "Tired - So Tired and the 'yeast connection'", and "Yeast Connection Success Stories".
Billy will be greatly
missed. Our condolences to his family, staff and friends.
